I haven't posted here yet and thought I should get around to it. I'm a full-time Illustration student but I'll do anything that keeps my hands busy, which is a little difficult given my rebellious joints, but I work through it. I made this for my friend for Christmas, but it fits the theme for this month, so I hope it counts.

Anyway, I used the free pattern on the Lion Brand website. I had to make more flowers and leaves than the pattern calls for, because the amount in the pattern is not enough to cover the top of plant.

Happy Easter! I made these teeny birds for my nieces and nephew. They're from a free pattern for crocheted love birds on the Lion Brand site. They are 2" (5cm) tall.

I haven't posted anything in ages because my brother brutally murdered broke my camera. Graduation dolls, a strange menagerie, and some other things besides ( under here :D )

My co-worker's birthday was recently and I sneakily asked her what her favorite animals were. She listed cows and elephants (because she had a calf as a child and decorates her house with elephants -- she's from India).

So I tried out the Lion Brand pattern for elephants and this is how he turned out:

My latest amigurumi :D from a lion brand pattern for 'Leo the Lion'

I'm really pleased with how he came out. I didn't have any of that fuzzy yarn for his mane, so I used a kinda latch hook technique to make it with brown yarn.

Yes more crafts. It's beyond an obsession now. :p

This is a CUDDLE BUDDY [well that's what I like to call it]. It's a little crochet plushie to give little kids as a comforting toy for when they sleep.

I was out and about today and stopped by my local Michael's store and found a little book by Lion Brand Yarn with 10 little Ami patterns in it. They're very cute and seem to be simple enough.
